What is AMBA Connect?
AMBA Connect events are a series of member-focused, evening events designed to bring together student and graduate members from our ever-growing network of MBAs, MBMs and DBAs around the world.
These events are the perfect setting for future business leaders from AMBA-accredited programmes who wish to meet and exchange insights with like-minded peers, build their professional networks and hear from business leaders, academics, and thought-leaders.
This May we find ourselves in Barcelona, and we invite our members from around Spain and beyond to join us for an evening of high-level discussions, informative expert opinion and invaluable networking opportunities.

About the UPF Barcelona School of Management:
The iconic, majestic UPF-BSM Balmes building owes its name to its strategic location on Balmes street, which is located in the heart of Barcelona in one of the city’s main business areas , with a wide offer of accommodation and plenty of restaurants of all kinds. Furthermore, it is easily accessible by metro, bus and train. We are also very close to Avenida Diagonal and Passeig de Gràcia, two of the city’s main thoroughfares.

About the speaker
Scott Mackin is an entrepreneur and MBA professor whose career has spanned multiple industries and continents over the last 20 years. His experience includes management roles in business development, marketing and operations and has advised high-growth start-ups and Fortune 500 companies. He currently lives in Barcelona, Spain with his wife and two children.
