Donald Lancaster, Professor & Director of MBA, The Business School Exeter University
Having driven business success over 30 years in advertising agencies across the globe, Professor Lancaster has significant experience and expertise in the practice of marketing communications, creativity, management, leadership, presentation, mentoring and training.
Curiosity led Donald to test his practice experience through Doctoral research at Bath in 2014. His PhD unearthed new insights into relationships between global advertisers and their agencies. Now a professor at Exeter, he is a Fellow of the Higher Education Authority, Fellow of the Worshipful Company of Marketors and a Certified Management & Business Educator, lecturing in Marketing, Advertising and Brand Management.
In 2018, Donald pioneered the use of digital examination technology at Bath, running many high-stakes tests over two years. This enabled the University to rapidly adopt e-assessment across the institution as the pandemic struck. Donald is a member of the International e-Assessments Association and participates in many international conferences, forums and workshops exploring e-assessment.
