Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business at University of the West Indies achieves AMBA re-accreditation confirming itself in the top 2% of business schools globally

Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business at University of the West Indies has officially received re-accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), one of the world’s leading authorities in post-graduate business education, demonstrating its continuing commitment to excellence in management education.

Upon receiving AMBA accreditation, all current MBA and recent MBA alumni of Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business at University of the West Indies are invited to join AMBA’s global member community of more than 60,000 students and alumni in more than 150 countries on a free basis, for networking, thought leadership, career development, and a variety of benefits.

Accreditation from the Association of MBAs represents the highest standard of achievement in post-graduate business education. Its rigorous assessment criteria ensure that only the highest-calibre programmes which demonstrate the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction achieve Association of MBAs accreditation.

Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business at University of the West Indies is a registered not-for-profit business school affiliated to the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus, Trinidad and Tobago. The school currently runs 10 postgraduate programmes, and one sole undergraduate programme.

During the accreditation process conducted by AMBA, members of the accreditation panel, representing senior management, commended the school’s strong relationship with business. The school aims to be the voice for business within the Trinidadian environment and the panel agreed that the school should continue to pursue this strategy.

The panel also commend the overall gender balance at the school – especially in the MBA programme.

Finally, the school was praised for the creation of a faculty and student handbook – which the panel remarked was clear and well presented.
